What is Warming Stripes
A simplified visual representations of temperature changes over time, showing the rise in global temperatures over the past 100+ years. Each stripe represents the average annual temperature of a specific country, region, or city, usually starting around the year 1900 and continuing through to 2023.
These graphics make it easy to grasp the severity of global warming, turning complex climate data into a clear, visual narrative that highlights the ongoing rise in temperatures globally.

What is Sustainability
Sustainability aligns with ESG principles but takes a more comprehensive approach, integrating ecological sustainability, social inclusion, and economic opportunity. We often discuss sustainability in the context of sustainable development, defined as:
Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs (Source: The Brundtland report p.37)
Two key concepts:
1.The concept of ‘needs’, in particular the essential needs of the world’s poor, to which overriding priority should be given; and
2.The idea of limitations imposed by the state of technology and social organization on the environment’s ability to meet present and future needs
